Artist Statement:
I’m super happy with this one. It’s been a while since I’ve played around with abstract work, and also with using prints.
This motif has come up a few times in my work before, initially emerging in my improv work. It has since become somewhat of a power symbol for me. I love messing around with variations of this design.
This work also features my hand-dyed, neon fabric, which really makes it glow. The first of what will likely become a series. -Io the Alien
